Your custom is very important to me and I take great pride in providing a friendly and efficient service. Each piece of jewellery is handmade, with care and attention to detail. I am always delighted to answer any queries you may have.
Commissions:
Due to the natural variations in stones, and the limited availability of some components, many of the jewellery pieces I make are either one-offs or have a limited availability. However, if ordered and when possible I am able to produce something similar - but as each piece of jewellery is handmade no two pieces are identical.
I am always delighted to work with you to on a piece of jewellery that is bespoke. Through conversations (either on the phone and/or email) with you, your piece will be produced to meet your specifications. I will work out rough costings, and I make every attempt deliver your piece below rough costs, sometimes this is not possible. If you do order a bespoke piece, a non-fundable deposit equalling 50% of rough costings is required. This is to order any special materials you require. If the final piece costs less than projected, this will be realised in the final bill.
Colours:
The colour of goods may vary slightly from that shown on the website due to natural variances in the semi-stones used and computer monitors. If you have specific requirements, or concerns regarding this, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Payment:
The website is set up to make payment using PayPal. However, if you would like to pay by cheque, you can. Please contact me should you wish to pay in this manner. Please note, that items will not be dispatched until payment has been cleared. Should a refund be necessary, it will be made in the method of payment, less P&P charges.
Environmental and Ethical Concerns:
Like you, I have concerns regarding the impact we have on the planet and how we treat each other. Therefore, I purchase materials that, where possible, are produced in environmentally and ethically acceptable manners.
Privacy:
I will not pass on your details to third parties. Your details will only be kept in relation to your enquiries and orders.
UK Postage:
At present, I only post to UK addresses. I hope to be able to post to overseas addresses in the future.
Royal Mail 'Recorded Delivery':
Items are sent via the Royal Mail's "Recorded Delivery" service at a cost of £2.50, for orders under £20. This service requires a signature and is insured against loss and damage. Recorded Delivery aims to deliver by next working day, and offers compensation for items valued up to £39. For orders over £20, postage is free.
If you would like to me contact you prior to dispatch to arrange a delivery date, please let me know. If someone is not available to sign for the parcel a card will be left with instructions on how to arrange re-delivery or collect it from your nearest Collection Office.
Guaranteed Saturday Delivery:
The Royal Mail provides a Saturday guaranteed service for an additional £2.20, on the cost of their Recorded Delivery post. So total cost of postage would be £8.80.
Postage costs are subject to change, but you will be informed of any changes made prior to dispatch.
Availability and Timescales:
Your order will be dealt with as soon as possible. Items that are in stock are usually dispatched within 3 working days of payment being received. However, as each piece is handmade, if an item is not in stock, I will contact you with a detailed timescale. I endeavour to ensure a piece reaches you within 14 days of payment being received. If this is not satisfactory, a complete refund will be made.
Special Date/Commissions: If there is a specific date you require your order to be delivered, please contact me (via email or phone my mobile) with the exact date and I will advise you if I am able to meet your request. Specially commissioned items are dealt with on an individual basis.
Returns Policy:
Every care is taken to produce a beautiful piece of jewellery so that you will adore either wearing it yourself, or giving it to someone special. I take great care in producing each piece, delighting in attention to detail to ensure that your jewellery arrives perfectly.
All items are checked before they are sent out. Please check the items upon delivery. In the unlikely event of loss or damage, please contact me within three days.
If for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your order, you may return it within 7 days of receipt, unworn and in perfect condition, along with the packaging and proof of purchase, and I will be happy to offer an exchange or a full refund less the cost of the P&P (please see exemptions below).
Please email me prior to returning an item with details of the problem. Returns must be sent via the Royal Mail's 'Special Delivery' service and insured for the full cost of the item within the time stated. I cannot be responsible for lost or misdirected returns if they are returned by normal or recorded post.
Items that cannot be returned:
Commissions:
Jewellery that has been specially created or adapted to your own requirements cannot be returned.
Earrings:
Regretfully, that for hygiene reasons Under UK Health and Safety law, earrings for pierced ears cannot be returned unless they are faulty.
Legal:
The website, any contract entered into in accordance with it (an "Agreement") and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Each party to any Agreement irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts in any action or proceeding arising out of or relating to such an Agreement (including a dispute relating to any non-contractual obligations in connection with that Agreement), and hereby irrevocably agrees that all claims in respect of such action or proceeding may be heard and determined by such courts.
